Returns and Cancellation Policy

Returns and Cancellation Policy

At Teesh, we work to provide high-quality printed garments and excellent customer service. Please read our returns policy carefully to understand what is eligible for return and refund. This policy was last revised in February 2025.

Eligible Returns
Faulty Prints and Damaged Blanks
We may accept returns for printed garments if the print is faulty and blank garments if they are damaged. You must notify us of the issue within 14 days of receiving the item. Please include a description and photographic evidence of the fault along with your order number to info@teesh.co.uk.

EXAMPLE of a faulty print or damaged blanks might include but are not limited to:

Misaligned Print.

Incorrect Colours (at the fault of the printer only – we cannot accept returns for colour matching that had been pre-approved).

Clear stitching faults in the blank garment (please note that any refunds for stitching faults or general garment defects are subject to us first receiving a refund from the supplier; we will not issue a refund until this process is completed).

Marks on the garment explicitly by fault of the supplier.

Holes that appear to be a result of poor manufacturing, not deliberate.

Burn marks on the garment as a result of industrial printing equipment.

The incorrect print on the garment (at the fault of the printer only – we cannot accept returns for artwork that had been pre-approved or uploaded by the user).

If a refund is approved for faulty or damaged garments, we will issue a full refund for both printing and blanks rather than providing a replacement, unless we are primarily at fault. We are usually unable to re-print individual faulty items as setting up a new job for small quantities is resource-intensive.

Blank T-Shirts (Unprinted and Unworn)
We may accept returns of blank t-shirts within 30 days of purchase. The t-shirt must be in its original, unworn, and unwashed condition. This is subject to a return approval from the blank(s) supplier.

Non-Eligible Returns
Printed Garments (Non-Faulty):
We do not accept returns or process refunds if you change your mind after receiving a printed garment. Custom prints and personalised orders are non-returnable unless there is a clear fault with the print.

Transport Damages
We are not responsible for damages incurred during transport. Please refer to the shipping provider’s policy for claims related to transport damage.

Return Process
Initiating a Return:
Contact our customer service team at info@teesh.co.uk to initiate a return. Provide your order number, details of the item, and reason for the return with photographic evidence.

Approval:
Only once your return is approved, we will provide instructions on how to send the item back to us. Returns must be shipped within 7 days of approval. If you choose to return an item, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We can provide a prepaid return label upon request, and the cost will be deducted from your refund. Faulty or incorrect items will be returned at no cost to you.

Inspection and Refund
Upon receiving the returned item, we will inspect it to confirm the fault or condition. If approved, refunds will be processed within 7 business days to the original payment method.

Shipping Costs
Return Shipping Costs:
Customers are responsible for the return shipping costs unless the return is due to a fault on our part.

Shipping Providers:
For transport-related damage claims, please contact the shipping provider directly and follow their procedures.

Order Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Window
Orders can only be cancelled if blank garments have not been ordered and printing has not commenced. To request to cancel an order, contact our customer service team at info@teesh.co.uk / 0116 389 0130 as soon as possible.

After Blanks Are Ordered
If blank garments have already been ordered, cancellation may still be possible, but the customer will be responsible for the cost of returning the blanks to our supplier. Refunds will only be processed once we have received the funds back from the supplier.

Large Quantity Returns (Bulk Orders)
Packaging Requirements: Returned items must be in their original condition and packaging. Any items returned in an unsellable condition may not be eligible for a refund or replacement.

Bulk Orders Over 50 Units: Returns must be pre-approved by Teesh before any items are shipped back. Customers must contact us at info@teesh.co.uk within 14 days of receiving their order to discuss the issue and provide supporting evidence, such as photographs of any faults.

Faulty Or Incorrect Items: If specific items within a bulk order are faulty or incorrect, only those affected items should be returned, not the entire order. We will advise on the best course of action after reviewing the claim. As with standard orders, we do not usually offer reprints on faulty or returned items within bulk orders, unless under exceptional circumstances determined by senior management.. If a refund is approved, it will usually cover both printing and blanks rather than providing replacements.

Guide to Copyright Laws for Designing & Ordering Custom T-Shirts in the UK

Guide to Copyright Laws for Designing and Ordering Custom T-Shirts in the UK

Welcome to Teesh! We are excited to help you create your own unique designs and bring your ideas to life. Before you get started, it’s important to understand the legalities surrounding copyright and how it affects your custom garment designs. This guide will help you navigate copyright laws to ensure your designs are both legal and original.

Understanding Copyright
What is Copyright?
Copyright is a form of intellectual property that gives the creator of original work exclusive rights to its use and distribution. This means that the person who creates an image, text, music, or any other original content owns the rights to that work and can control how it is used.

Key Points About Copyright:

  • Automatic Protection: In the UK, copyright protection is automatic as soon as the work is created and does not require registration.
  • Duration: Copyright typically lasts for the lifetime of the creator plus 70 years after their death.
  • Exclusive Rights: The copyright holder has the exclusive right to reproduce, distribute, display, or perform the work, and to make derivative works based on it.

Designing Your Own T-Shirts
When designing your t-shirts, it’s essential to ensure that the images and text you use are either your own creations or that you have permission to use them. Here’s what you need to know:

Using Your Own Original Designs
If you create your own images or text, for example using the shapes and text tools on our design studio to create your own printed garment design, you automatically hold the copyright to those designs. You can use them freely for your t-shirt designs if you are uploading them as an image file, too.

Using Third-Party Content
If you wish to use images, logos, or text created by someone else, you must ensure you have the right to do so. This includes:

  • Public Domain: Works in the public domain are not protected by copyright and can be used freely. Typically, these are works for which the copyright has expired or the creator has explicitly placed them in the public domain.
  • Creative Commons: Some creators licence their works under Creative Commons licences, allowing you to use them under specific conditions. Always check the licence terms.
  • Licensed Content: You can purchase licences to use copyrighted images or text. Ensure you understand the terms of the licence.
  • Permission: Obtain explicit permission from the copyright holder to use their work.

What You Cannot Use

  • Protected Images: Do not use images, logos, or text that you do not own or do not have permission to use. This includes characters from movies, TV shows, games, logos of brands, and images from the internet.
  • Trademarks: Be cautious about using trademarks, as these are protected under trademark law and require permission from the trademark owner.

Uploading Images to Our Online Design Studio
Our online design studio allows you to upload images and create your own t-shirt designs. When uploading images, please adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Ensure Ownership or Permission: Only upload images that you own or have permission to use.
  • No Infringing Content: Do not upload images that infringe on the copyright or trademark of others.
  • Quality Standards: Ensure the images meet our quality standards for printing.

Printing Your T-Shirts
When you place an order for a custom t-shirt with us, we will print your design exactly as you have submitted it. By submitting your design, you affirm that you have the right to use all elements of the design and that it does not infringe on the rights of any third party.

Our Policy

  • Review and Rejection: We reserve the right to review and reject any design that we believe infringes on copyright or trademark laws.
  • Responsibility: You are responsible for ensuring that your designs comply with copyright laws. We are not liable for any infringement caused by the designs you submit.

We want you to have a smooth and enjoyable experience creating your custom t-shirts. By understanding and adhering to copyright laws, you can avoid legal issues and ensure that your designs are both unique and compliant. If you have any questions about copyright or need assistance with your designs, please feel free to contact us.
Happy designing!
